Northern Winds is the Independent Members Domain for the Canadian Camarilla Fan Club (CCFC). It was created in 2003 to give a voice for the members of the CCFC that were scattered across the country, to far from any of the other domains. It is a place to gather, albeit online, to meet, role-play and almost anything else that can be done in a live domain.
Northern Winds got its name partially as play on words of the US Camarilla’s 4-Winds Internet domain and the Changeling venue. In Changeling: The Dreaming, Canada was called Northern Ice in the Dreaming.
All of our role-playing is done on IRC, #northernwinds room. Our games are set in the city of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
Northern Winds gives you a place to go when you can’t go anywhere else. Like it says, if you are too far away from another domain, you can join Northern Winds.
Northern Winds is a full domain. It and the members of the domain have all rights and privileges of any other member of the club. The Domain Coordinator of Northern Winds or their local coordinator will hold anyone who violates the CoC or any other policies of the Camarilla accountable for their actions and can receive a disciplinary action. Northern Winds is not a place to come and earn experience freely. The Domain abides by the Rules of the Camarilla.
